I find myself from time to time browsing various blogs for news and entertainment purposes only to have my eyes wander a little too far down, down past the last sentence of said blog(s) and onto comments that other readers have left behind. It seems like these comments are drawing my eyes down like some voodoo curse or maybe like a black hole sucking in the unfortunate minuscule particle that drifts too close. (That first analogy did not work at all but I am leaving it there to mock me.) When my eyes do finally land on the first comment I cannot help but to read it and when I do I am always left unfulfilled, so I read the next comment and the same process happens there. I usually make it to the sixth or so comment before I snap out of the trance like state that has been induced on my psyche and slap myself. Leaving me to wonder: what compels people to write down their opinion like it truly matters? Wait........dammit.
